Problems streaming Amazon Music

When you try to stream Amazon Music, the songs get cached, paused, or not playing at all.

You need to have a stable internet connection so that you can stream music without any problems. To fix streaming issues:

  • Check if the device is connected to WiFi or a mobile network.
  • If you're using a cellular network, make sure the Amazon Music app settings allow cellular network use.
  • Force stop the app and reopen the app.

You need to have a stable internet connection in order to stream Amazon Music HD songs without any problems. To fix streaming issues:

  • Check that your device supports 16-bit / 44.1 kHz and higher playback.
  • Use an external DAU (digital-to-analog converter) that supports the processing of a bit depth of 16 bits and a sampling rate of at least 44.1 kHz if the device cannot reproduce HD and Ultra HD.
  • Open the Amazon Music app and check the audio quality of the song that is currently playing. HD or Ultra HD badges appear on the Now Playing page.
  • 3D audio is only available on the Amazon Echo Studio device.
