Is OneDrive as good as Microsoft Office

Use OneDrive with Office

You can quickly open and save OneDrive documents right from your Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. If you also have the OneDrive desktop app installed on your PC (the OneDrive desktop app is included with some editions of Office), documents in OneDrive and Office are synchronized and you can talk to other people at the same time shared documents work.

How to save Office documents in OneDrive

  1. Sign in to OneDrive when you install Office or directly from any Office app. In the top right corner of the app, tap or click Log In and then enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

  2. Open the document you want to save to OneDrive, tap or click file > Save as, select your OneDrive, and then choose the folder where you want to save the file.
